Basic Life Support Challenge r.21
A competency testing of skills and knowledge associated with the Basic Life Support (BLS) course consistent with the American Red Cross Focused Updates and Guidelines 2020 with no allowance for review or practice with an instructor. The purpose of a challenge is to provide individuals with the opportunity to demonstrate their skill and knowledge competency outside of the formal class setting. The participant has sole responsibility in preparing for the knowledge and skills test. Anyone is eligible to participate in the challenge. Individuals who do not hold a current American Red Cross certificate (or equivalent) may participate in the challenge option one time only. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Basic Life Support which is valid for 2 years.
